Welcome to www.JoMu.ug. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to the following Conditions of Use as they describe the Terms and Conditions applicable to your access and use of JoMu's website and mobile application. And remember that by agreeing to these conditions, you do it on behalf of yourself, your employees plus all members of your household or even other parties who may use any JoMu service under your account. In this document, you are to be referred to as "you", "your", "business" or "User" hereinafter and JoMu.ug be referred to as "we", "our", or "JoMu" hereinafter.
1.Account Creation
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign in details and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. JoMu reserves the rights to terminate accounts, remove or edit content.
2.User Conduct
2.1. You are only permitted to post content you own or have full rights to share. Uploading, sharing or publishing content owned by another user, business or entity without proper authorization or permission is strictly prohibitted and may result in account suspension, termination or legal action.
2.2. Do not use the platform to post or share false, misleading, or illegal content which is to say, including but not limited to, copyrighted content, pornography, hate speech, fake or fraudulent content, personal data leaks and illegal drugs.
2.3. You are strictly prohibited from posting or sharing content that is discriminatory, offensive, or abusive towards persons with disabilities or any vulnerable groups, Such content will be removed and may lead to account termination or legal action.
2.4. The user should not upload any content that is derogatory, defamatory, or disrespectful towards other businesses. All interactions on this platform must reflect professionalism, mutual respect, and uphold the dignity of all businesses.
2.5. Users are expected to communicate respectfully and courteously at all times. The use of offensive, abusive, vulgar, or inappropriate language is prohibited. All interactions should reflect professionalism and consideration for other users to maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
3.Deals and Transactions
We intend to connect businesses and facilitate deals. We are not responsible for the outcome of deals made between users or businesses. JoMu does not control and is not responsible for the quality, safety, lawfulness or availability of the products or services offered for sale, ability of the selling business to complete a sale or the ability of the buying business to complete a purchase. You agree to conduct business ethically and legally on our platform.
4.Accuracy of Content
You are required to provide clear, truthful, and accurate images, videos and descriptions of products or services shared on JoMu.ug. Misleading, false, or deceptive content is prohibited. All submissions should fairly represent the item or services to ensure trust and transparency within the community.
5.Intellectual Property Rights
All content, including but not limited to, images, text, logos, and designs, posted by businesses must respect Intellectual property laws. Sharing content that infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, or any other proprietary rights without authorization is strictly uncalled for.
6.Data Usage Consent
By accessing or using JoMu services, users consent that their personal data may be collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes data used for improving user experience, service delivery, communication, and marketing purposes.Users agree that their data may be analyzed or shared with trusted third parties where necessary to fulfill service obligations or legal requirements.
7.Limitation of Liability
JoMu is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from, for instance, but not exclusively, business interactions, transactions, or communications between users. We do not guarantee the success or reliability of business arrangements. All arrangements between users or businesses are made at their own discretion or risk. We do not assume responsibilty for the accuracy, legality, or quality of any content, product, or service shared by businesses or third parties. By using JoMu, businesses agree to indemnify and hold JoMu harmless from any claims or disputes resulting from user interactions or the misuse of the platform.
8.Updates
We reserve the right to modify, update, or enhance our softwares, features, or services at any time without prior notice or obtaining users' consent. Such updates are to be automatically implemented, and users or businesses agree to accept and comply with all changes as part of continued use of the platform.
BY CONTINUING TO ACCESS OR USE JoMu SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY PART OF THESE TERMS, YOU MUST CEASE WITH USE OF OUR SERVICES IMMEDIATELY.
